2014 Taipei Day 1 - 31 March 2014
Finally we have arrive at Taoyuan International Airport after taking 4,5 hours flight, we are arriving around 6am (taipei and sg have no time difference), after passing immigration then we proceed for baggage claiming to retrieve our package.

The sales of ticket counter told us the bus waiting area is number 5, from the counter we go out and turn left, you can see the number is on sequence so its not difficult to find it. Actually i am going to explore the airport for a while but the bus already want to start so i am hurry to get in and we are down to TMS.

After around 45 minutes (its raining but not a heavy rain) we arrive at TMS

Its still early in TMS so many shop still not open yet, at first i am going everywhere to look for the easy card, ask the information center then they told me go here anad there, the station is so huge and confusing (at first) so i am lost nowhere to find it after i found a counter that sell easy card. Btw, Easy Card is something like EZ-Link card in Singapore that can be used for taking MRT and Bus and some also can be used for payment to merchant. The counter we found still close and its open 11am (OMG), now still around 7.45am. Then we decide to pass our time by having some coffee at Starbucks.

Taiwanese are very welcoming and nice, when come into the store they will greet you and nicely to server and ask you what you need etc. After finish the coffee, time still very early, so we decided to walk around for a shop that already open (not much,only like 7eleven etc). Btw, at Starbucks there is a rack for putting the disposable cups etc that we already finish, put it there before you are leaving, they are very discipline without being told, i wonder when Indonesia people can have a mindset like that. Walk walk walk then later we found a machine that can be use for purchase Easy Card (HOW STUPID I AM LOL), the Easy Card can be bought through this machine, it cost NT$100 for the card with no value inside the card, then we need to add the value to the card as we want, the machine accept bank notes and coins and it can return the exchange, what a convenient machine, horeee we got our card

After getting our card, we are going to our hotel to put our luggage first before heading to Taipei101. We are statying at Taipei Morning Hotel, around 10-15 mins walk from Songjiang Nanjing MRT Station (head to Exit 8). The hotel is located on 4th and 5th floor at a building. Again, i am fascinating by the attitude of service level here at Taipei, they are so nice and friendly, thumbs up. Here is our room
What? A Whole glass transparent bathroom, dun worry you can put down the curtain if you feel uneasy for being transparent :p

How to get there:
Go to Songjiang Nanjing Station and head for Exit 8, after get out then turn Right and walk straight until you see the traffic light and then turn Right again, walk straight around 3 or 4 blocks and you will be arrive, its beside the store that selling electronics.
Taipei 101
After put down our luggage (check in time is 3pm, now is about 10am) we are heading to Taipei 101. Take MRT to Taipei 101 Station and head for Exit 4.

After arriving Taipei 101, we already feel a little hunger so i decided for having brunch on Din Tai Fung (鼎泰豐), it have a lot of branch around the world and famous with their Xiao Long Bao, now in Taipei must try it because its originally here (correct me if i am wrong). The restaurant open on 11.00 but its already have someone to queue it for that, so i queue too with them :p
They open the restaurant before 11.00 because its already have a queue so i got a table without waiting for some time. Here is what we order
